*•CAINE's POV•*
I woke up when a hand came down on my face. Huh? I sleepily moved the hand but the hand just came back.
I moved it again but it came back, smacking me with full force. Shit!
*•CAINE's POV•* I saw when the girls dragged Ara away. She looked to me for help but all I did was to wink at her and grin which made her shoot me a nasty look. If looks could kill...
*•ARA POV•* We went down to meet our mates. Cindy and I didn't want to take money from our mates but Jessie threatened to kick our butts if we didn't. Besides, it's not like have money of our own anyway. I shyly scooted to Caine and said, "Credit card or cash please." I was embarrassed to ask someone —apart from Cindy— for money. It makes me uncomfortable.
*•ARA POV•* It took us another fifteen minutes to get home and I was so restless. We entered the house and I dumped all my bags on the sofa. "Okay talk to me." I commanded. "About what?" It's either he's playing dumb or he's stupid but I'm not in the mood for him now.
*•ARA's POV•* We arrived at the pack house—after almost giving Caine a heart attack—to see everyone dressed and ready for the ceremony. I detached myself from Caine and made my way to Cindy and the girls. "Oh my! You girls look so pretty!" I complemented the girl squad standing at the corner.
*•ARA's POV•* I know I was supposed to stay back but I couldn't help it. And I must say, it's good that I went. That psycho witch and her brother came to take me back, as their cook? If they had called me a chef, I'd have been happier but since they didn't, it made matters worse. I don't know what came over me, but seeing Macy lunging at Cindy made me react quickly and stupidly. Even though I was bigger that a normal she wo
*•CAINE's POV•* Watching Ara walk away from me and towards Rodrick made me nervous. What if she hurt herself during training? Before I could think about protesting to Rodrick, Cindy came to me. "Hey bro." Something about the way the Luna brother-zoned me stirred something within me.
*•ARA's POV•* I woke up to an empty bed. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if Caine got in bed with me. I swung my leg off the bed, and walked to the bathroom to freshen up. Using my hand to cup water, I splashed the water on my face and looked into the mirror. My hair was all stuck on my wet face so I had to push it behind my ear to take a good look at myself. My eyes were red from crying and sleeping. I can't believe just one death has me shook. If I want to be the Beta Female of the Black Pack, then I have to get ready to see more dead body bodies. Remembering my mate, I brushed my teeth quickly and left the bathroom to look for Caine. "Caine!" Calling out to him, I entered the bedroom but he wasn't there. I made my way to his room but he wasn't there either. Paranoia started making it's way into my head and I ran to the living room. "Caine! Caaaaaiiiiinnneeeee!" Looking around the living room, I started panicking when I di
*•CAINE's POV•* After dinner, Ara straddled me. It's now an everyday routine—to be straddled by Ara before five o'clock. "I have a plan." She said. "And what might that be?" I wanted to know what was going on in that pretty head of hers.
