Throughout the day, I thought of how I had never shifted, how I've never been part of something bigger than myself, it was annoying, frustrating even.

The feeling plagued me all through the night. It was especially after watching those kids complete the annual run in their wolf form, I was happy for them, but at the same time, I felt a little jealous.

I became restless just staying in my room, staring at the walls, and the ceiling, thinking of why I couldn't turn. What was the reason? With these thoughts running through my mind, I drifted off into a troubled sleep.

The next day, I got out early in the morning groggily, I didn't get enough sleep because I was disturbed, I didn't know why it got to me now, I'd been living so long without a wolf, so why did it seem to irritate me the most now.
