Chapter Five

~LOGAN~

My staff members were all surprised as we all walked to the VIP eatery for lunch. The confusion and surprise were clearly written on their faces.

When we arrived at the eatery, we occupied two round tables. Amber wanted to sit on the other table where I wasn't sitting, but I pulled her to my table. She was a bit startled as I sat her ass on the seat beside me. It made the other staff members stare at us, but they didn't say anything. Amber glared at me, anger flashing in her eyes.

I acted as if I didn't see her angry stare as I called the waitress, and asked my staff members to order what they wanted. I didn't allow Amber to order, as I ordered for her. I ordered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas.

“Why did you do that?" She asked with a frown.

“I know that's what you are going to order, so I asked the waitress to make it two plates since that's my favorite too," I replied with my usual cold voice as I scrolled through my phone to reply to an important me
