After setting up a camp for them to rest, Brockley lit a bonfire to provide some warmth to the surroundings. He would sleep outside while Riley slept inside.

However, Riley couldn't sleep. She sat beside Brockley watching the fire before them. “I want to talk to you, Brockley. I wonder why you care so much about those two beggars?”

Brockley took a sip of the warm water and then said, “Even though I've never felt what they feel, I'm trying to taste it. It hurts.
