Chapter 21: A Bouquet Of Roses

I reached the hospital and parked the car in the driveway and walked towards the entrance of the hospital taking the bouquet with me.

I saw that Dr. Sarah is in the same wing as me and she came closer to me saying.

“Rozine is getting discharged.”

“Has the payment been made?”

“Not yet.”

“Good. I’ll be doing it.”

She nodded and left.

I took the elevators. I reached the floor where Rozine’s room was and walked towards it.

I entered and saw Ms. Mariam back facing me while she collected things in her bag but Rozine was nowhere to be seen. I coughed to let her know that I’m here.

She turned and greeted me with a smile and I smiled back.

“Rozine is in the washroom, changing.” She said looking at the bouquet in my hands.

“Okay. I’ll do the other formalities till then.”

She shook her head and said. “No need, Mr. Risso we-”

“Please let me, Ms. Valerina. She ended up here because of me and this is the least I can do.”

She nodded and I left the room keeping the flowers at the bedside table.
