Savannah turned on the cold floor as the sunlight found it's way through the opened curtain and forcefully wrenching her away from a dream life of a happy life.

"Miss Savannah, the queen mother ordered to see you. Do not be late." Bernice called from outside the room. Savannah grumbled a response before sitting up, taking in the empty room with displeasure.

Since she started staying with Reginald, she had not for once met him when she woke up. It left her feeling sore and angry, but what could she do? This was just a chapter of her miserable ex, but in order not to make it more miserable she knew keeping the queen waiting wouldn't be a good way to start the day.
