'Please pick up, please please. ' Isabelle mumbled in a scratchy voice, one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding her phone to her ear. She had been trying to call her boyfriend Dylan countless times. Each time her calls went unanswered. She just didn't want to be alone after what had transpired at her uncle's place.
'Aaargh fuck! ' She dropped the phone on her lap, gritting her teeth. She knew Dylan's shift at the bakery was over, so she couldn't think of any reason why he wouldn't respond. She was speeding down the highway, heading to his place. Isabelle could feel the shattered pieces of her heart, breaking further the more she thought of the situation.
It wasn't long before she got to his apartment. Knocking on his door while shuffling on her feet, Isabelle waited but no response was given. She banged again, grimacing when pain shot up on her right hand up to her elbow. The image of her father kicking her hand when she grasped his leg popped up. She squeezed her eyes shut, pushing down the flashback. She was minutes away from stealing a hammer and breaking the damn door.
She debated on whether to call her best friend Tiffany instead, but she decided against it. Her parents and Tiffany's were close, she had an inkling they already knew about what she had supposedly done. After minutes of pacing and forcing her mind to conjure something up, she decided to push the door.
To her luck, it was closed but unlatched. With a small sigh of relief she pushed it open. The tiny living room was empty, save for the loud music that was playing from Dylan's home theatre. He loved taking a shower with his favourite song blaring, said it helped him relax. When she got closer to his bedroom she could hear water running in the bathroom.
With the tiniest smile she could afford at that time, she thought of joining him. She knew Dylan was capable of making her forget her troubles inside the shower with his bedroom skills. When she however peeked behind the slightly ajar door, Isabelle's blood drained from her sticky face. Her jaw dropped, her eyes widening as she took in the scene that was right in front of her.
Dylan was gripping Tiffany by her hips, pummelling into her in long deep thrusts. His head was thrown back, mouth open and face contorted in pleasure. Her best friend was meeting Dylan's thrust, pushing her ass backwards. Her face was flushed pink, her beautiful blonde hair sticking to one side of her face. She couldn't tear her eyes off them, as they moved in an acquired rhythm.
Her heart stuttered, every part of her went into pause while her brain struggled to catch up. Dylan had never moved that gracefully when he slept with her. He never took his time with her body like he was slowly thrusting into Tiffany. Isabelle finally blinked, her right hand flying to her chest.
'Oh god! ' She stumbled back, the delayed shock finally catching up with her. The two didn't even register they were being watched. Deeply engrossed in their love making, none of their attention wavered.
'Goddess I love you Tiffany. ' Dylan rasped, speeding his strokes. Another piece of Isabelle's sanity flew away at the utterance.
Tiffany moaned, her eyes rolling into the back of her head. 'I love you too. ' She answered back, her palms firmly placed on the tiled wall.
Isabelle felt as if someone had clawed her heart out. For seconds she forgot to breath, her conscious trying to comprehend what her ears had just perceived. She turned blue with every second that went by. She couldn't have stood there for longer than a few seconds, but she felt as if she had been there for hours. Her feet moved on their own, dragging her from the scene her eyes refused to stop taking in. Her throat tightened on her as the rest of her body eventually obeyed her feet. She turned without looking back and bolted out of the apartment.
She took the stairs, forgetting the apartment building had elevators. She couldn't see clearly, her teary eyes could only make blurry images. When she got to the parking lot she didn't even glance at her car, she just ran into the night. Isabelle ran without looking back, not bothering to wipe her tears.
She didn't stop until she got to the local park, until her lungs burned and her feet ached. She had no idea how she ended up at the park instead of a night club to drink her troubles away. The place was deserted at night, not even a single soul was around. She ventured further into the park, far from the road. She followed the trail between pine trees and greenery until she got to a bench that sat at the far end. There, the girl sank on her knees for the umpteenth time that night.
She couldn't have imagined her night could go from being worse to unbearable. Her shoulders shook as she blubbered like a child. She let it all out, under the moon and the stars, Isabelle form shook as her chest painfully constricted. She didn't register a tall figure leaning on a tree a few steps from where she knelt.
She slowly untied the head scarf that covered her wavy platinum blonde hair. Gears were turning inside her mind as she stared at the material in the darkness. She stretched it on the bench, nibbling her bottom lip. Isabelle looked around for any branches that she could reach at her 5ft5 height.
The man furrowed his eyebrows when he followed her line of vision. He knew in his gut that the distraught woman was up to no good. He could see her slumped shoulders, her slow movements. She had given up and whatever she was going through was proving to be difficult.
Isabelle didn't hear the man approach given her state. He was stealth for his physique, walking gracefully without the foliage crunching under his Jason of Beverly Hills' dress shoes. He observed her, feeling her pain as she cried on the ground.
Christian black loved spending his time after dinner in the local park. He enjoyed the silence the place provided, away from the buzz of city life. After long hours in the office and numerous calls and meetings, Christian fancied peace of mind. Now the girl had disturbed his usual schedule with her gut wrenching cries. But as unusual as it felt, he couldn't watch her hurt herself further.
'Don't do it. ' Christian spoke.
His voice had the girl jumping on her feet, taking a defensive stance.
'Jesus you look like you're definitely having a bad night. ' Isabelle wished the man would just shut up and let her be. She didn't want to hear him talk though she admitted to herself that he had the sweetest deep voice she had ever heard.
'Leave me alone. ' She managed to whisper in a raspy voice, walking away from him.
'No, not in this state. ' He grasped her arm gently before she could walk farther, halting her in her steps.
'Please. ' She didn't have energy to defend herself if need arose. Christian was determined to make her forget about whatever she was going through even for the night. It wasn't out of the norm for him to take strangers into his hotel. In fact, he was quite fond of having one night stands. Seemed he didn't need to go to a club to get one that night.
'Come on, I know something that will help you feel better. ' He pulled her closer, observing her under the moonlight.
'And what is that? ' She found herself whispering a reply. He was the first person to speak genuinely to her after everything that had happened.
She had been accused of drugging her cousin and raping him. Her family had disowned her and on top of that her boyfriend and her best friend were sleeping together behind her back. Isabelle didn't have any reason to give a damn about where the man was taking her.
'Sex love, sex always works magic. ' Whispered Christian, running his thumb along Belle’s arm. Christian cursed himself inwardly for his stupidity. He had no idea what had driven him into saying that let alone considering it.
Had it been another day under different circumstances, Isabelle would have slapped him. She didn’t have any second thoughts about doing something wild for once in her miserable life. She had pleased people in her life for so long, the same people that failed her when she needed them the most. Isabelle didn’t take a step, she stripped down there and then. Perhaps his cock could make her forget for just a few minutes the mess that was her life. With a shaky whisper, she breathed out the words.
‘Then show me magic. ‘
'You did what? ' Christian scrunched up his face when one of his close friends and co-worker shrieked.'Could you at least lower your voice Sean. ' Said Christian.'After what you just said, god no! I want to know what exactly happened. ' Sean crossed his legs and leaned on the leather chair opposite Christian. The two were in Christian's office, chatting away during lunch break. Christian had mentioned having sex the previous night with a stranger at the pack.'You like gossip...' Chuckled Christian. His friend pinned a playful glare on him, tapping his palms on his thigh as he waited for the man to talk.Christian sighed, knowing that his friend wouldn't give up. "I was at the pack, routinely like I always am after dinner. While I was just chilling enjoying the cool breeze, I spotted a young woman from a far. " He paused, remembering how her gut wrenching sobs had brought out a part of him he thought he had buried for years."She was a crying mess men, I am telling you whatever had
Isabelle was coiled up in her red velvet couch, staring at her phone for almost half an hour. The screen would light up during an incoming call, then it would go black once the call ended. She would recognize the number from anywhere, she wondered why she hadn't blocked her cheating boyfriend yet. Her laptop was on top of the coffee table, the words how to deal with stress and betrayal written on the search bar.Realization had since sank in, that only a lover and a parent could wound so deep, cutting to the very crux. Where there was once peace was total emptiness, an isolation coupled with a barricade between her and her family. She had whispered a million why(s) and if(s) but she remained with no answer except for her parents didn't love her like they claimed. She concluded that Dylan and Tiffany had always been fake and mean-spirited.She got up, ignoring her phone once again. Her chapped lips stretched into a small smile across her hideous looking face, when she felt a sweet pain
Isabelle sat still on the black and brown leather seat, striving to push the urge to squirm back to it's confines. She battled with her eyes to remain focused ahead even though she desired to look at Christian from her peripheral vision. Christian observed her stiff posture, her alluring throat as she forcefully swallowed saliva. His eyes went down further to her plain maroon blouse that was tucked neatly under her skirt. The material left just a small cleavage to pique his curiosity. Isabelle felt his eyes on her and she lost her struggle. She shifted on her seat, grimacing when her lower back ached. She hadn't slept for two days, it was by chance that she had no bags under her eyes. The brief scowl on her face didn't go unnoticed by Christian."Relax. " The man stated, focusing his sight back on the busy road."Huh? " Isabelle concentration was elsewhere, her eyes couldn't waver from his hands as they gripped the steering wheel. The sleeves of his button up navy blue shirt were fold
"Welcome to your new home. " Isabelle couldn't begin imagining leaving under the same room with Christian. The man had so much power over her despite the short time they had known each other. What could go wrong anyway? She would be working, she needed to only go through his file and get an idea of what she would be handling. "Thank you. " She whispered. Her voice was still hoarse given the crying she had had. She still felt guilty about creating a mess on Christian's blue shirt. He however insisted that it was just a piece of fabric. Like a gentleman, Christian opened the door for her, spreading his palm for her to take. Isabelle eyes went wide, she thought she was at a fictional place."What the f..." She trailed off, eyes glued on the vast, slick unique house. She was witnessing the finest architecture on a private residence. "This is simply magnificent. " She breathed out, looking around at the masterpiece. Isabelle pulled her hand out of his and took a step back. Questions began
"You had one job, Carol, one fucking job! " Christian's voice boomed in his office, his burning eyes pinned on his one week old secretary."Sir, I called you countless times..." The woman trailed off when her boss lifted his right hand up, signalling her to shut up. Christian breaths were coming out in short puffs, his tense shoulders going up and down with every forceful breath."Shut the fuck up stupid woman! What did I say about dealing with my clients? " Carol hang her head."Answer me! " She flinched at the loud voice that reverberated in the enclosed space of work."That I should never strike any deals with them in your absence or Sean's. " Carol's low voice never shook as she answered despite a cold sweat that had began forming on her forehead."This is her first mistake since she started working here. " Sean who had been quietly observing the scene chimed in. Christian ignored him and turned to his secretary. He gave her a once over, grinding his teeth for what her stupid mist
Isabelle wasn't sure she wanted Christian to find out where she lived. In her four years of studying at the Weston East University, Isabelle never brought friends to her studio apartment except for Tiffany and Dylan. To her, the house was more than a place to sleep, it was her safe haven. Somewhere she could wallow, relax on her own without any disturbances."Uum you can drop me off at the hospital, I need my car. " She stated when Christian asked for directions to her house."I will have someone drive your car to my place. " Isabelle bit down a scoff."No, it's too much work for you. Plus you are supposed to be at work, your phone hasn't stopped ringing." Isabelle insisted, praying that he would just take the hint that she wasn't comfortable with him going there."I am beginning to think that you just don't want me to see where you live. " Chris deadpanned."Look, I know we barely know each other. But I think I deserve some benefit of doubt considering the fact that I didn't hurt yo
"Isabelle..." Christian didn't know how to say no to his nurse without hurting her further."I want to forget. " Isabelle's broken voice was barely audible as she clutched on Christians lean body."You have to pack what you need. " Said Christian, ignoring her whisper. He pried her off him, pinching his nose when she looked at him in teary eyes."There's no need, I'll pack tomorrow. " Christian could feel the indifference in her newly found firm tone."Isabelle you have to understand that you can't keep having sex whenever you get hurt. " Christian explained. The woman turned to look at him, slowly taking her time through her blurry vision."I need to be alone. " She spoke after seconds of silence and deliberation. She couldn't comprehend the power and control he had over he body. She burned to feel his warmth envelop her, she craved to orgasm in his arms again. She thought that he was the only one who could help her forget just how messy her life was."But w...""I will drive up tomo
"I'm so sorry. " He whispered, running his hands atop of her purple hair.Isabelle sniffed, positioning her head comfortably on his chest. " I should have suspected that they had something going on. ""Stop blaming yourself for their selfish actions. " Christian chastised. They remained standing, none of them ready to let go of the other. Isabelle felt safe, a sense of calmness settled in her heart when the man entered and pulled her into a hug. Christian on the other hand couldn't get to his office without thinking of Isabelle's fallen face."Tiffany...She uum she was my best friend or so I thought. " Isabelle sniffed again, listening to Christian's regular and strong heart beat."Hey, you don't have to. " Christian didn't want her to regret telling him.She lifted her head and forced a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "I need to get it out, it feels like I'm suffocating the more I force it in. " Isabelle stated firmly."When you feel like stopping, just stop okay? I am here f
