"Alright." Angeline nodded.

Although Angeline was fine, there was something off between her and Sean.

Sean leaned down to kiss Angeline while cradling her face. But Angeline held his wrist and turned her head to avoid him. "We should eat. You're not going to stop once we start kissing."

After letting go of Sean's wrist, Angeline was about to pass him when Sean pulled her by her wrist. "Don't you miss me?"

Angeline's phone rang again. She broke free from Sean's grasp and answered the phone, "Hello?"

"Hey, Angie. It's me, Sherryn." Sherryn sobbed, "Ned's fever hasn't gone down, and he keeps calling your name. Can you come over to visit him?"

Angeline remained silent.

"Please, Angie! I know I went too far yesterday! It was because Ned kept speaking up for you." Sherryn bawled, "Please, Angie! Don't be so cruel. He got hospitalized because he tried to save your daughter!"

"Alright. I'll come over now," Angeline replied.
