P.E. the subject everyone in the La Florence Academy dreaded to go. Not only it is tiring, but their P.E. subject is very different to a normal P.E.: instead of teaching some lame normal stuff, they are taught self- defense and other physical trainings that could help them in the future (gymnastics, rock/hill climbing, how to untie oneself, and etc.) considering that they're children of the Elite society. It is vital for them to know how to defend themselves in case something unfortunate happens.
The members of the Student Council and Aaron all walked inside the gymnasium only to be welcomed with shouts and grunts from students who were currently climbing a wall. Some were also training karate and judo while most girls are either practicing on a balance beam or was trying to untie themselves. The P.E. class works not by class but by the capabilities of a student; they first measure your
A/N: KYYAAAHH! It's been so long since I've done an update. Finally, semester is over, now hopefully I can post more chapters. I miss you all hope you missed me too. Anyways, here's an update, ANOTHER CHAPTER! YEY! Enjoy reading! And remember: I love you all! The P.E. subject just finished and Excami was on her way to the Student Council room hoping to find his brother and Hestia interrogating the two boys again. She was seen skipping in pure joy, probably because she had that fleeting feeling of how it was like to be a detective. Eyes closed and her smile just radiating joy, that everyone she passes by just also smiles too. But that smile disappeared when she bumped to a— soft wall? Excami fell on the floor with a thud and can't help but let out a yelp of pain. "Ouch! Ow, that hu
SSHS 15“I would like to report something.”Curiosity surrounded the Student Council members. If a student wants to report something that is related to the academy or their well-being, they should head to the Guidance Office orthe School Police as they are the one responsible for the discipline and security of the students. Also, it is better to direct it to them as they will be able to respond immediately.‘What could they be reporting about?’Hestia thought to herself as she neared the door.
The next day, gym 2 was closed for the public. Police tape covers the entrance to the gym, even the back door. Two police officers were stationed at the entrance, making sure that no student would be able to enter and see what was inside. Students flock outside of the gym, all in groups and all curious. Everyone is sharing their own whispers and murmurs, sounding like a buzzing bee in the field of early morning. Each student is eyeing the other, hoping that someone has an explanation for this commotion. Each of them tells a tale— a theory, trying to find a solution to this issue. But alas, no one was right, and no one knew what was right. The bell rang and everyone dispersed, entering their classrooms or club rooms and beginning their day as if nothing happened at gym 2. But one group remained at the entrance of gym 2, the cheer-leading squad with Freya at the front. They can’t help but feel sad at the si
SSHS 17 “Come to think of it, why did you make an exception on my, or rather mine and Aaron’s case?” Arthur blurted out of the blue. His eyes never leaving the screen of his laptop, his fingers still furiously typing the digits and letters on the Excel sheet. On his side is Excami, holding papers upon papers and is joined by only paper clips and not staples. She looked up the moment Arthur asked the question, eager to know the reason why her brother did such a thing. In their family, everything and everyone must be fair. In terms of moral compass: be a true neutral, or impartial, so to speak. One must always hear the sides of both parties in order to arrive on the most just decision. Lest, anything that is aligned with injustice will be just saying that they do not care about family teachings. And it includes the exceptions… though it rar
SSHS 18“And, done! Finally, we can now submit this to the Guidance Office for them to compile a complete report and for the police to officially mark this case a ‘closed’.” Excami exclaimed from behind her brother who was printing out the file. A while ago, both siblings were alone in the Student Council Office early in the morning, about 5 am on friday. Apparently, Hestia sent a recorded message to Damian detailing the motive from Arthur that she asked yesterday, and also a document with the transcript of the voice mail in case she wasn’t audible. And so, that early morning, Damian and Excami came to school a little early just to write the report. No, they were eager to write the report. Good thing Hestia sent those at 4 am or else the siblings might not sleep at all if she sent it the last night.
SSHS 19Freya slowly looked back at her junior, and was taken by surprise by her question. It was something, a topic that is so private that little to none knows about. Only those who are close to her. ‘Excami and my request.’ thought Freya, stitching the puzzles and figuring out how Hestia was able to procure the question. Still, she didn’t answer the question her junior asked. Even if the said junior has the look of curiosity and determination in her eyes to know the truth… she figured that it’s best if a few people know about the reason why.Wanting to avoid the question, she just gave Hestia a sweet smile and turned the handle of the nurse’s office, greeting the nurse inside with a warm and wide smile as she entered and u
SSHS 20Damian dreaded this day. Or this week rather. If only not for a company billionaire actually visiting the school and begging the school and also the faculty members to let him hold his charity event at the school, he won’t be in here greeting the guests as they enter the grand stadium where the event was being held. He welcomed each guest with a smile and a proper hi or hello, some even insisted on shaking his hands as if he’s some celebrity or politician. He really dreaded this day.The decoration can be described as lavish but not too much. The decorator just put three chandeliers— all glittering from the ceiling as lights were shone on them making them look like diamonds shining in the giant room, satin fabrics hangin from the walls and draping to the floor like a waterfalls, all the fabrics were in the hue of bl
SSHS 21The two whispered in unison as they stood there in shock. The guards that were with them held the culprit tightly, two guards were needed to hold the culprit down as another one tried to put hand-cuffs which is hard to do— after all, the culprit was so flexible, the guards almost let go of her when she twisted her body along with her hands.“How could you do this, Mrs. Letrain?” Damian asked to the coach that was being held down by two guards. She looked at him from her peripheral vision and scoffed as a response. No, she won’t speak to anyone, even to the Student Council President. He’s just a student after all, barely holding any authority to this school if not the faculty and the dean actually backing him up. She doesn’t recognize the Student Council as anything but a plaything for the students to try
