Claire walked to the bed and lay on it. Damien just denied her? 

That was shocking. He never did. They'd had countless sex with each other.

Then, it meant nothing to them but now that she's in love with him, it means a lot to her now.

She pulled the duvet to her naked body and closed her eyes, trying to sleep.
