CHAPTER 6

　　“You still need my manager after slapping me?” I asked with a smile.

　　“Who’s the manager of this place!” The customer yelled again.

　　“Hi ma’am, hope no problem,” Mr. Collins asked and rushed out of his office.

　　“You’re the manager that didn’t teach your staff how to attend to customers right?” The customer yelled, looking at her closely I guess I have seen her face before.

　　“I am very sorry for any inconveniences we might have caused you ma” Mr. Collins pledged.

　　“Don’t beg me, don’t you dare!” The customer yelled raising her hand in the air.

　　“So what did you want me to do ma?” Mr. Collins asked with a smile and the customer put on a fake smile.

　　I am very sure she’s up to no good.

　　“Sack her!” She said. “What!” Mr. Collins said surprised.

　　“You heard me loud and clear, sack her and you’re gonna lose your job if you refuse to,” she said and hold Mr. Collins’s collar giving him a seductive look.

　　“I can’t sack her, she’s not a waitress, she’s a cleaner she was just trying to help her friend” Mr. Collins replied.

　　“Did I look like I care, a minute call will end your career and even close down the restaurant” She said showing Mr. Collins her phone.

　　“My boss, who are you to her?” Mr. Collins asked.

　　“You don’t need to know, do as I say now!” She yelled and I smile.

　　“Mr. Collins I know you’re a good person, I won’t allow you to lose your job because of my mistake so I quit,” I said trying hard not to cry, because I was hoping to get mum surgery Money from this work, the other work is just for our daily food.

　　“You can’t quit, you needed this money,” Mr. Collins said.

　　“I know, your job is at stake and this restaurant is also at stack I’ll leave,” I said and went to pick up my bag.

　　“I’m very sorry, I’ll give you a call later,” Mr. Collins said.

　　I walked out of the restaurant and stand outside waiting for the f00l that made me lose my job, she can’t go Scott-free ever, not when she made me lose my job.

　　She walked out of the restaurant with a satisfactory smirk on her face.

　　I dropped my bag on the floor and move closer to her.

　　“Weldone Miss dèvil, you did a great job back there, I must recommend,” I said and removed the strand of her that was about to enter her face.

　　“Can you take your filthy hand off me!” She yelled and push my hand away.

　　“I was only dressing your hair well because you’ll look like forbidden India sacrifice by the time I am done with you,” I said with a smirk.

　　“What can you do?” She asked.

　　“I love dare, and this sounds like a dare,” I said and drag her by her hair.

　　“Oh goodness! Let me go right this moment” she yelled.

　　I pushed her to the floor and started hitting her face.

　　“Your family won’t recognize you by the time I am done with you”I yelled and continue to deal with her.

　　I get hold of her hair again and started dragging her with it.

　　“Fûcking let me go! Are you planning to kîll me” she yelled in an Authoritative manner.

　　“Who sent you!” I yelled and Derrick rushed to the scene.

　　“Karen, what’s happening here?” Derrick asked trying to separate me from the ûselèss f00l, I pushed Derrick with my hand and he fall, I resume dealing with the îdiot, some guards came out of a car and carried me away from her.

　　I bite the one that Carried me and he didn’t move, is he a robot.

　　“Let me go, before I blow your bàlls” I shouted. One of the guards carry the îdîot to their car and the other guard drop me.

　　“I hàte you for stopping me” I yelled and throw a stone at him.

　　“You’re lucky boss asked us not to hurt you,” the guard said and walked away.

　　Who’s their boss? Who’s he talking about? I knew someone sent that lady.

　　“Karen what are you doing outside and why did you bèat up that lady like that?” Derrick asked.

　　“I hàte you!” I yelled to his face.

　　“Hàte me, what did I do to you?” Derrick asked with a frown.

　　“Instead of you to join me fight that lady, you’re asking what she did to me, anyway she made me lose my job I am out of here, I don’t need your pity,” I said and pick up my bag.

　　Giving the restaurant a last glance I stop a cab before Derrick can stop me.

　　“God where will I start from,” I said and let the tears flow freely from my eyes.

　　The sound of my ringing phone pulled my attention and I picked it up immediately without checking who the caller is.

　　Picking the call, I heard a feminine sarcastic laugh from the other end.

　　Like what the heck! Did this person call just to laugh? “Who are you?” I asked the caller and she clear her throat.

　　“I am your downfàll” she replied. This can only be Luna.

　　“Luna!” I said and she burst into another hèll of laughter. “Gosh! You’re jobless now, don’t bother going to your second working place because it’s fruitless” she said.

　　“So you’re the one? Did you have to go this far? Is it by force?” I ask.

　　“Yes to work with me is by force, have a nice day,” she said and end the call I hit my phone on the car seat angrily.

　　“What’s all this for Pete’s sake? Why must it be me?” I yelled.

　　“Take it, easy madam,” the cabman said.

　　“Don’t tell me to take it easy!” I yelled trying to transfer my aggression at him.

　　“I’m sorry,” the cabman said. “I am sorry I yelled at you, I am not just in good mood” I replied and my phone rang out loud again.

　　“This phone will be the end of me” I shouted. “Why did call back?” I yelled.

　　“Hey don’t shout at me, we need you in the house right away” I heard Sky’s voice and I end the call immediately.

　　I am not in the mood for his nonsènse prank this evening, I put off my phone before putting it back in my bag, I don’t have any money to buy a new one if it eventually gets lost.

　　“We are there,” The cabman said and I rushed out of the cab.

　　“Here’s your money,” I said and point some dollar notes at the cabman.

　　“Nevermind you need it more” he replied with a smile.

　　“Thank you very much Mr,” I said and walked away. I was welcome with a destroy shop. Don’t tell me Luna destroyed the innocent man’s shop.

　　“Karen you’re here,” Mr. Clerk said with a smile. Why’s he still laughing? His he not supposed to be crying by now?.

　　“Oh you’re surprised, I was also surprised and sad when I came here this money, but the person that destroyed it asked me not to work anymore, she said she’ll be paying me every month, she’s a good Samaritan, may God bless her for me,” Mr. Clerk said.

　　“God! What’s this?” I shouted. “What happened? Are you sad? You should be at least happy for me” Mr. Clerk said.

　　“I am happy for you, but what about me?” I asked and he breathe out in relief.

　　“You’ve another Job right?” He asked.

　　“No I don’t have any job” I replied feeling frustrated already.

　　“What happened to your job?” He asked with a frown.

　　“I was sacked” I replied. “Oh no, I prepared some money to appreciate you for staying with me all this while, I hope this $700 can help,” Mr. Clerk said.

　　“Yes it will help for some time, thanks very much Mr. Clerk” I replied and he gave me the money.

　　“I need to get going now, I was waiting for you, the lady mustn’t meet me here,” Mr. Clerk said and I nod my head.

　　“You will be fine darling,” Mr. Clerk said.

　　“I hope so” I replied and it started raining immediately Mr. Clerk left. I am at the junction waiting for a cab, and I pray a cab come fast before I freeze I am not tolerant of cold.

　　Two guys walked passed me and snatch my bag from me.

　　“Oh my goodness! The money Mr. Clerk gave me” I shouted because I can’t run after them due to the cold.

　　They removed the money and tear it into pieces, they drop my bag on the floor and ran off, I can’t run after them because I wasn’t myself, I can’t even move an inch.

　　My eyes started seeing double, I don’t really know what was happening around me anymore.

　　My eyes close on their own and I fall down flat on the floor.

　　AUTHORESS P.O.V

　　“How’s it? Did you get any information about her?” Jayden asked.

　　“No Mr. Smith, I guess she’s a commoner, which means she’s not on social media” Justin replied.

　　“How’s my business if she’s a commoner, I just need you to find her by all means” Jayden replied.

　　“I think there’s more to this,” Justin said. “Whatever just find her, I need to see her” Jayden replied.

　　“It will be very difficult because we don’t know anything about her” Justin replied.

　　“I give you two days to find her!” Jayden said and walked away.

　　“He hasn’t been this serious towards a lady, this is a disaster, I won’t find the lady, because she just wanna endanger the innocent lady life, knowing fully well that his parents most especially his mother despise commoner,” Justin said.
