Alistair’s Pov

Exiting the car, the sun cast its radiant glow, yet a persistent frown marked my expression. With a bouquet tightly gripped, I walked along the path, Jayden following in my wake.

Arriving at a distinct headstone, I tenderly placed the bouquet, taking a moment to crouch down. One knee met the ground, while the other elevated, offering support for my hands as they rested on it. The name etched onto the headstone was unmistakably clear – Claire Levon. The sunlight played upon the letters, casting shadows that seemed to echo the weight of memories held within the engraved name.

Among the gravestones in the cemetery, this one stood out distinctly. Its size surpassed the others, adorned with unique designs that set it apart. As I lingered, someone approached, a hand resting on my shoulder with a gentle squeeze, and I instantly recognized it wasn't Jayden.

Much like myself, this person shared a common trait, his eyes were a light blue shade. Unlike me, he had red hair. Hold
