Tailing the Lead

Forrest rushed through the dark night as quickly and quietly as he could, tailing his target. After he informed Kiara of the person who had Christen’s scent, he was both surprised and angered to learn exactly who this man was. ‘Surprised’ for he did not expect the man who held his ex-wife’s scent to be that disgusting man. ‘Angered’ for if Christen was with him, it was possible that this guy may have done something to her. Something that may break her even more, assuming if there was any more of her that can be broken…

If he would dare even think it, the thought of Christen getting hurt worried him so. He may not have any right to have such feeling, given that he was the one who pushed her away, but it was because of that- because of him- that her life got worse. And she was made a target of a playboy. No… someone even worse, if this man caught Kiara’s attention in a negative perspective.
