Brenda squinted. A repulsive answer from a guard. She's the Luna of the pack and yet, a guard answered her in such a mannerless way?
She looked at her daughter and the latter stared on in disbelief. Her father had humiliated her mother that even the guards can now talk back at her in such a carefree way.
She frowned but while the daughter and mother pair were bewildered, the guards, one at each end held her majesty and raised her up.
That way, they dragged her along as she was protesting. She was saying she would deal with them as she is the Luna.
But her protest fell on deaf ears. The guards wore a poker face and went on with Brenda toward the dungeon.

Laura left the prison and went back to the pack house. She had hardly stepped into her bedroom when her father's guards came to inform her that the alpha wanted to see her.She frowned.
