**Flashback**

Harriet was playing with the kids when her phone rang. A wry smile appeared on her face as she stretched her hand to answer it.

“Hello,” the voice on the other end was soft and smooth, “Mother-in-law, how do you do?” It was Kira Robinson.

“I am quite well thanks to you.”

A look of surprise flashed through Kira's face. She never even expected Harriet to answer the phone, talk less of praising her.

“Why would that be?” she asked confused.

“Because my dear, you have succeeded in causing discord between the two. They seemed to be acting inseparable but I can see a crack. Noah brought the kids over for the weekend, obviously they are having trouble. And for the very fact that the fiend agreed to the arrangement, it will be easier convincing Noah to file for custody.”
