Chapter 106
I shut the door quietly to Dad’s office and sighed. Sometimes it was just too much to deal with him. He was your atypical Alpha. All growly and power hungry. Sky’s leaving hurt his ego more than anything. Dad didn’t actually give a shit about her. He went through my phone but, per usual, there was nothing. Only a text message from Carl saying that the part I’d order was confirmed coming in on Tuesday. This made me smile. I’d finally get to talk to my sister.

I nearly jumped out of my skin as I hit the bottom step. Covering my heart, I growled at Justin. He was leaning against the wall next to the stairs with his arms crossed over his chest. Rolling my eyes, I shook my head.
