338. Time To Leave

Lucas panicked.

Lost at what to do at first, he tried to wake her up. Then he thought she might just be having a nightmare until she started calling out for help in a barely audible tone.

The skin of her face paled. She grasped his hand, her eyes shut, her expression a mix of pain and fear.

“Heidi…” Lucas shook her gently, struggling to control his heartbeat. “Can you hear me?”

She called out for help again, murmuring his name in-between.

Lucas stood up and grabbed his phone, his anxiety taking over.

He dialed Dr. Shawn's number. “Can you come to the Villa right now?”

“Mr. Harrison, is anything wrong? Is Heidi alright?”

“I don't think so. She's having a nightmare and refuses to wake up. It can affect the baby, right?”

“Is she running a fever?” Dr. Shawn asked, his tone anxious.

Lucas touched her forehead. Her temperature was getting high. “I think she is.”

“Then it's a bad news. I'm in the hospital, Mr. Harrison. How about you bring her? We might be able to attend to her properly.”
