Chapter 8 – Cruel type of bonds

Holden had liked Anne for a long time, well since they met when they were just 12 years old, but he had already known she was too obsessed with Dean to give him the time he needed.

He had given up long ago that she will never be his, but look how cruel fate is, he is now stuck with some dumb mate bond that linked him to the woman who will never love nor respect him.

“Ah……” Holden screams as loud as he can, not with anger but with sadness, he is going to have to wake up early next morning and work with the very man that keeps his mate’s heart.

The next morning, he had woken up rather late, later than Dean who had knocked at his door when he woke up.

“Good morning your majesty.” Holden says softly.

“What happened?” Dean asks, “you have been sulking since our last hunt.”

“I… well… It is nothing, I am just not having a good day that is all.”

He knew Dean suspected something, after all they had been friends long enough for them to know when the other was not having a good day.
