“When is the next full moon?” I ask as he pulls his phone from his back pocket and types away on it.

“Three weeks.” He shows me the screen on his moon app and it’s not just any moon, it’s a super moon.

“Ok, we can work with this. You are already changing. For your first shift, we will need to be at the beach mansion.” I tell him and he looks at me, confused.

“Why would we need the beach mansion?” he asks, and I smile softly at him. I cup his cheek with my hand and he leans in to it, turning his cheek to kiss my palm.

“When you shift during the full moon, you will need the ocean. The ocean during a full moon is magical. There is a certain magic in the water. It will help with the transition.” I tell him when I snort and start laughing. Carter looks at me, concerned that I am having some kind of mental breakdown.
