"Are you okay? You look pale, honey," Mommy remarked.
"Maybe I'm just tired, Mommy."
"You finish your food already so you can rest after."
"Yes, Mommy."
I heaved a long sigh. I still can't bring up the topic about my pregnancy. This is killing me slowly.
After we had our dinner, I went upstairs and washed up. I checked myself in the mirror and Mom was right. I looked pale. This is probably about my pregnancy.
I heard my phone rang. I quickly finished up and looked after my phone. I found out Jonas was calling so I answered him.
"E," he called.
"What made you call?" I asked.
"Are you okay? Do you feel any pain right now?"
It took me few seconds before I was able to answer him. I didn't expect that he will call just to ask me if I was okay.
"Uhh, I'm fine naman. How about you?"
"I'm good. I'm just... I'm thinking about your condition."
"Mommy told me I look pale. I-I think she's right."
