CHASITY DAWSON P.O.V
(MEANWHILE BACK AT SCHOOL DURING LUNCH TIME)
After class I headed towards the school cafeteria for lunch. Seeing my friends already sitting at our usual lunch table with their plates, I quickly got mine and headed towards the table. I put my lunch tray down and sat down in my seat. Quickly digging into my plate to eat.
“Did you do your math homework?” asked Maddie, as she looked at Payton and I.
Lucky for me, I did my homework with Payton yesterday at her house, so I knew I was going to be fine. Math was not Maddie’s best friend, nor was it mine. Payton on the other hand, was a genius at almost everything. We all went to Payton when we needed help. So, when she was looking at Payton and I; I knew the question was meant for Payton. She was the genius of the group, and very pretty as well; with her long dark brown hair and blue eyes.
“Of course, I did,” replied Payton, waiting for Maddie to ask the question she really wanted to ask.
“Can I copy it?” Maddie quickly replied, with a sheepish grin.
“You should really start coming to my house after school with Chasity and I. That way we can all do our homework together,” replied Payton.
“So…yes?” asked Maddie, with another sheepish grin.
Payton sighed, while I chuckled.
“Yes, you can copy my homework,” replied Payton.
She opened up her bag and pulled out her binder that had her homework in it; handed it to Maddie, who quickly, put up her dark brown hair in a ponytail, and started writing down the answers on her own paper after grabbing the sheet from Payton. She quickly started writing the answers down while taking bites of her food here and there. Her dark brown eyes focused on the work in front of her. Even though Maddie may have not been the best at math, she certainly is the best at drawing. She was great at it, and if she wanted to pursue a dream as being a famous artist, I am sure she would make it. That might not happen though, due to the fact that she rather open up a flower shop since she loves flowers and gardening.
“So wha—“ said Payton in a curious tone.
I already knew where this conversation was going, and I am positive that this had something to do with Joe. I did not need to think of what lie to say. I had a great poker face, and was a great liar. It was a bad thing, but then again it was a good thing, for moments like this. Moments like lying to my best friend in order to protect a secret that was not mine to tell.
“If this is about Joe, he asked me to tell my mom,” I pointed my fork to the right, “that his mom told him,” I pointed to the left, “to tell me to tell her,” pointed back to the right “that she could have the weekend off,” I said in a nonchalant tone, calmly eating my food.
It was a great lie, because they knew my mom worked as a house maid for his family. It was a valid answer, that was believable and will make this topic not go further than it should. Joe and I need to find out who is sending these pictures more than who knows about them. Once we find out who is the one sending them, then maybe we can tell our friends the truth.
“How did you feel when you talked to Joe Bandit for the first time?” teased Payton with a grin.
She knew how long I tried to go without talking to Joe. What she did not know, is that today was not the first time Joe and I have talked to each other, last night was; but that is not something I am going to tell her yet. It was nerve wrecking and I felt like vomiting because of how nervous I was, when I spoke to him. It’s a shock to me that I did not stutter, when I did talk.
Thank Goodness, I said to myself in relief.
“I was nervous and felt nauseous,” I replied with a shudder, as I thought of the embarrassment I would have felt, if I really did vomit.
Payton giggled “Talk about an unforgettable first impression.”
Maddie suddenly gave a small laugh, while she copied the answers from Payton’s math paper; making me assume she was partially listening to Payton and I talk about Joe.
“I know,” I groaned “I am seeing him again on purpose later on today, after I leave your house.”
Maddie stopped writing and looked at Me. Both her eyes and Payton’s eyes widened at my comment.
“Why?” this time the question came from Maddie.
I immediately came up with another lie “Well, I am not specifically searching him out. I am going to his house to see the chef. He made more cupcakes for me,” I put on an excited face. I wish it was true, and I am hoping it will be surprisingly true.
“It is so nice that he does that for you,” Maddie groaned. She then sighed and said in a dreamy voice “I wish I had a chef, that always made desserts for me.”
“He is not my chef, he is Joe’s,” I said in an amused voice.
“He could become your chef,” Payton snickered.
I raised my eyebrow, “what do you mean?”
Maddie grinned and went back to copying Payton’s work, while Payton answered my question.
“If you and Joe ever got married th—,” she started to say.
I quickly cut her off “Woahhhhhh. Hold on there.” I than shook my head and scoffed “I wish, but unfortunately I am not his type,” emphasizing on the word ‘wish’ to her.
“What makes you think you are not his type?” Payton’s eyebrows furrowed.
I tilted my head up and said my thought out loud, “I am just not.”
Payton shook her head “You are wrong.”
I raised my eyebrow, “What makes you think that?”
She looked at me, and leaned forward to whisper in my ear, “He has never had a girlfriend.”
I raised my eyebrow and looked at her surprised. Come to think of it…
She was right.

Chasity Dawson P.O.VBy the time my last class had finished and the bell had rung. I headed straight to my locker to wait for Payton. Luckily her locker, and Maddie’s locker, was right next to mine. When I reached my locker I grabbed my other text books and stuffed them into my backpack, to do my homework later at Payton’s house. I was so focused on what I was doing; that I did not hear the two other guys behind me.“Hello,” said someone behind me.I turned around and there before me, stood John and Giovanni. My eyes widened in surprise, because I have never spoken to them before either. Even though they haven’t said anything else yet, I had a hunch that they were here to get info from me on why Joe approached me. I closed my locker and turned around fully to face them. I was not nervous to speak to them, because although t
Chasity Dawson P.O.VThe man with the envelope started to turn, to walk in the direction of the house, but suddenly stopped. He quickly turned towards me, as if he sensed someone watching him. Which made me freeze for a second at being caught. When he saw me, he turned and quickly dashed back to his black car, jumped in and drove off before anyone else saw him. When I ran towards the road to catch his license plate before he got away, it was useless. There was no license plate on the back of the car. That must be the person leaving the photos, I thought to myself.I knew this was groundbreaking, since the culprit had finally been seen by someone. Even though, I may not have been able to see his face clearly enough to identify him. At least I was able to see his car, and the way he was dressed. It was a tiny
Joe Bandit P.O.VI snickered to myself after sending the text to Chasity. Truth be told, this was not the first time I caught her watching me from the window at Payton’s house. She is not the quickest person to disappear, when it came to hiding after being caught. It made me assume that maybe she had a thing for me. I thought it was cute and it puzzled me on why she had never tried to talk to me, if I was correct and she did have a thing for me.“Move over,” shouted Gio.I looked up at my two best friends fighting in the theater room for the middle seat in the front row. I rolled my eyes at their childish antics. There were at least nine other seats for them to sit on. Then again, I might have argued for that seat too. It was the best place to sit, when it came to watching a movie.
Joe Bandit P.O.V“What are you kids up to?” said John, as they saw Chasity and I together alone in my room.Damn, I really thought the movie would have kept them occupied, I thought to myself.Chasity and I jumped away from each other.“Is this what Americans’ do when they have friends over? Sneak a girl up to their room?” Gio rhetorically asked, turning towards John.John shook his head and touched his heart dramatically as if appalled “No, we do not.”I cleared my throat, while she looked down, using her hair like a curtain to cover her face. I walked away from her and towards my two, currently bothersome friends and pointed my index finger towards the opposite direction they were facing. Signaling for
Joe Bandit P.O.V“What is that you have in your hand son?” asked my father, even though he could clearly see it was an envelope with photos.“Dad,” I replied in a panicked tone.I quickly stuffed the photos back into the envelope. My father walked quickly towards me and snatched it out of my hands. He opened it and his eyes went wide when he saw the pictures. He ripped the whole envelope filled with the creepy photos and threw them against the wall. He looked at the photos as they fall to the ground with an angry expression. He then fiercely turns to me and stepped forward my way.“Where did you get this son!?” he pointed to the ripped photos on the ground “Where did you get the envelopes with the photos in it!?” asked my father, as he put both his hands on my shoul
Chasity Dawson P.O.VAfter getting home and cooking dinner, I was finally ready to take a shower and get some sleep. I felt so nice and squeaky clean after my bath. After getting out of the shower, I headed towards my room. I slipped on my fuzzy plus colorful socks and smiled because of how soft it felt. I then laid down on my bed and put my head on my pillow. With a smile on my face, ready for the next day.Ring!Ring!Ring!I groaned in irritation when I heard the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 10 o’clock.“Whoever is calling me, better have a damn good reason for calling this
Chasity Dawson P.O.V(Fifteen Minutes Later) “Why did we go out to get milkshakes?” I asked, as we left the McDonald’s drive thru.I took a small sip of my chocolate milkshake while Joe’s was still in the brown paper cup holder. He did not want to drink it while driving, even though it was not alcohol. We were on our way to the beach, and I am still sort of processing the fact that I snuck out at 10P.M while my mother was sleeping, to go out and get milkshakes with Joe and talk about whatever serious info he has yet to tell me.“When I was younger, my dad would take me out to get milkshakes whenever I was sad or mad. He would park his truck at the beach and then pull the truck’
Chasity Dawson P.O.VI slowly shook my head from side to side again. “Speak up Chasity,” Joe said in a lustful tone, giving away what his eyes were saying. “No,” I softly mumbled in response. I then shook my head again and repeated myself “No.” “No what?” Joe asked me, wanting me to speak to him clearly. “No, I do not think you are lying Joe,” I said, while my eyes were stuck in a trance
