The two were being watched by everyone at the dinner. Their co-workers were eyeing them both close and his family was watching the other people. Sophia hated being the center of attention. She could feel every eye on her. Knowing that they were all planning to come at her during this trip at sometime was unnerving as well.

“Micha they are already trying to come at me,” Sophia said as she looked up at his face. She had a look of slight fear in her eyes. Like the idea of sharing time with him was putting her in danger. She was at peace though with the cow and be herself.“Cowgirl they will but that doesn’t mean a thing,” Micha said. “Nothing is going to happen to ya here I promise that.”Micha moved her to his side. She was intent on looking over the cow though. She ran her hands over the animal again and Micha watched. She was a natural with animals. That was not a learned trait it was just a part of her. As Sophia moved as Micha’s eyes raked over her he had to stop her from moving. He looked in her eyes and saw that she was slightly scared but he had no idea why. They had already had sex in the barn. He had seen her mostly naked before. Micha was dead asleep when he heard some noise on the first floor. He didn’t want to get out of the warm bed with Sophia curled around him. He didn’t realize them that he had missed this. The feeling of a warm body next to him completely relaxed with the sedation from a wild bout of sex. With Sophia was different though. He never felt this relaxed, This unwilling to leave the bed feeling.The noise was growing though and he rolled out of the bed and reached into his suitcase and pulled a pair of sleep pants out and slipped into them. When the two woke up again it was still dark but morning. They knew to make sure Micha’s new plan for the people who worked for him they had to be ready and willing to do anything for the day. Sophia went to the stables which was a place that no matter where you went or on any farm or ranch was always the same. The layout might be slightly different but the day to day activities in it was the same. Sophia knew exactly what to do without being told where anything was. She smiled to herself and then began collecting the buckets from the stalls and then filling them up with either water or feed. She could see the ones that they had the more specialized diets for and though she didn’t know exactly what it was she could guess.She began hauling the water buckets to each stall and placing them in their holders on the wall. Micha watched as the people all filled the area and they looked like they were already miserable. He was going to enjoy the next few days. The people there had no idea what he had planned. Though he knew he couldn’t outright fire them all he wanted to make their lives a living hell for the two weeks.“Alright people settle down,” Micha said as he raised his voice a bit. He glanced over to the stable and saw her walking around to go to the back pen probably to go check on the cow again. He smiled to himself and then looked at the people in front of him. None of them were dressed right for the day he had planned. Nice shirts and khakis were going to get ruined out here but he honestly didn’t care anymore. “We will be breaking down into smaller groups so your abilities can be tested. You will also be given a chore to do and you will have to learn it.

As breakfast was being doled out the people were still grumbling about being up at an ungodly hour. They also didn’t like the idea of being tested even though it made perfect sense to match them with the correct animal and tasks that they could do. Sophia listened as she was off to the side and she was not surprised even though she was disappointed in a way. These people really did need a wake up call on how life worked outside of the city.It was making her almost mad the way they kept going on and on about things they had no idea it was there in place for hundreds of years. They weren’t any less of people because they kept a certain way of life going. It was simple but hard. It was more rewarding to them to see the animals grow and be ready to wholesale for her it was watching the newer cows produce and whatnot. Micha and her came from the same coin just two sides
