Chapter 25

It was a simple rundown apartment. It had a kitchen and living room in the same place. One barely working toilet and shower in another room and finally one room by the side it. The couch in the living room was a red three seat couch that had holes in them. The red fabric had faded with patches here and there while at the same time, littered with unidentifiable dried stains. An old television stood in front of the old couch which was off.

In the corner of the small apartment was a slightly malnourished boy of about ten years on his knees on the cold hard floor while facing the corner wall. His body was shaking from time to time, not knowing if it was because of the cold room and floor, or that he had been on his knees for hours. He had various scars of varying sized across his back and hands. He only had on a pair of shorts and socks with nothing to cover his skinny top.
