Her throat had cleared up, her nose was less congested, and aside from the early-in-the-morning fatigue, she felt a lot less like the groggy, tired monster she had been yesterday. Ideally, the night wasn’t supposed to include Arabella almost stabbing Gael with a chip, or Faye laughing so hard that juice spurted out of his nose, or Hudson biting Louis’s finger.
