Chapter 11

Running into Devon's room Laura was surprised to find them both talking normally, she looked at them confused.

"You want anything, Laura?" Mark asked

"No, I thought I heard you scream." She replied trying to catch her breath.

"Me? Not me Devon did." He disclosed.

"Oh, I missed your voices, what happened?" She asked sitting down to calm herself.

"Don't mind him, he tried moving his legs on his own and the pain he felt made him scream," Mark explained.

"You guys almost gave me a heart attack I thought he was having a late post-surgery compilation."

Turning to her patient she scolded him.

"Dev, I told you before you can't move your legs anyhow, for now, it may rip off and you would have to go back for a restitch which will not be good cuz a restitch is twice as painful as the actual surgery."

"I didn't do it deliberately, "

He replied scratching his ears. He looked tired even though he just woke up.
