Chapter 17: Blood Bath

“Activate our man; if something happens to her. I will burn everything down,” Decker ruffed.

A tease to lose Adele encapsulated his heart.

These words echoed in the mansion and were merely a glimpse of outrage.

He was all set to burn this world, but wished no single flame would touch Adele. She had been untraceable for the last eight hours, and he didn’t know where to find her. Several attempts failed, as Adele’s number was not reachable.

His chest pulsated with wrath; deep down, his heart was scared for Adele. The serpent of anxiety spilled its venom. She was an innocent girl, and what if any of his enemies kidnapped her? Or is there any probability she left him because he didn’t tell her the truth?

He clutched the table as Vincent entered with a package.

“What? Did you find anything?” he asked.

“There is a package,”

He grabbed the packet and ripped it open. There was a flash drive with a note.

We need one million dollars. Otherwise..., you can see what we have done to your wife.
