"Was I reckless? If so, I apologize, I just could not control myself."

"That's enough, Miguel!" again I interrupted him, my voice firm, "Nothing happened to us. Now I am leaving."

I did not know why, but I actually saw a hint of pleading in Miguel' eyes. He seemed to need me to affirm him, and he wanted to hear me tell him that I did indulge in that kiss just now.
