“Eva, I really hope that you came up with a plan yet! Time is of the essence” I warned. “Relax Lily, I am working on it, a master plan does not develop overnight, it takes time” her naïve personality annoyed me. “Eva listen to me…time is something that we DO NOT HAVE!!!” I yelled the last part, breathing heavily over the phone. “Why? What is it that you are not telling me?” Eva grew curious. “Xander and Cara went away for the weekend. Rumour has it that they went to visit Cara’s family and ask her mother for her blessings before they can finally tie the knot” I told her the truth hoping that she will finally grasp the need to work faster. “What? CARA’ P.O.V Admiring the formal outfits that I bought…well Xander bought…over the weekend, I chose a grey and black check dress to wear on my first day of work. It stopped perfectly above my knees and the black belt which came with it, made the dress fit me perfectly. Loosening my curls, I applied light make-up and nude lipstick, gave myself one more look of admiration in the mirror before leaving the room. In the mirror, I saw a proud woman, even though I would be working for my future husband the fact remains that I would be earning my own money and not just living off his.
