THIRD-PERSON POV“Who attacked you, Randy?” Alpha Nolan asked as he held a glass of water to his warrior's face. With great difficulty, the powerful wolf trembled with pain as he struggled to sip from the cup of water. He coughed and then he gasped for breath. The alpha quickly thrust Randy into a sitting position, knocking on his back, hoping for some ease. “Easy there, Randy. Take it slow,” the alpha commanded. MIRANDA'S POV It had been twenty-four hours since I received my whipping. My back was still sore. I was lying on my belly in a hospital bed, and even though I was still in pain, my mind couldn't stop thinking about Luna Peaches. Was she OK? Were her wounds healing properly? I still couldn't believe how heartless and ruthless Alpha Nolan was. I promised myself I was going to get revenge, not just for me, Nigel, and Taurus, but also for Luna Peaches. I wish someone would come and take her from this hell she was in. No woman should endure these treatments. Peaches deserved better. This pack deserved better. NIGEL'S POV“It's great to be me again,” I stretched my arm above my head as the sunlight peek through the trees, giving light to the forest. “Don't just stand there. Take me for a run,” Taurus growled. “OK buddy, let's go.” In wolf form, I zoomed through the woods, enjoying the cool air and the birds whistling above.
