“What does this man even want from us?” Julian’s usual whining came while I tossed the pancake on fire that I managed to mix. Wren asked us to make her pancakes because she was with the kids while Daisy was out on a work. We decided to relieve the cooks of their duties for the rest of the week while we were mourning. They only came into the simple tasks and they left. We took routines in cooking and taking care of the triplets, because we needed the work and bonding to get over the traumatic event we had just witnessed.
