"Why are you asking about it?" I asked her, meeting her determined gaze with a curious one of my own.

Kallum strode confidently into the office, his damp hair combed back neatly. As he caught sight of Anisha sitting on the sofa across from me, his face lit up with a broad smile. He quickly crossed the room to scoop her up in his arms onto his lap, eliciting a gasp of surprise from her. Her innocent reaction stirred something in my groin. This woman had no idea how irresistible she was just by merely acting shy and timid.
