" hey Betty .. You excited for dinner tonight? " Alex cued as she took the seat opposite mine. It is lunch time now and I could see people filing in and out of the cafeteria.

As soon as the bell rang signaling the last period, I packed my bag hurriedly and moved out of the view of everyone before finding my way to the library to use my free period. I entered the library and gave the librarian a smile before walking to my special shelf where I had hidden a lot of books for my leisure time. I bent down and looked at the books, trying to pick one to read for this period. I finally settled for " A chance at true love " and a smile tugged at my lips, I have been wanting to read this book since but haven't had the chance.
