Chapter Thirteen: The Play

"Are you having fun walking with me, Ardon?" Via happily asks the dog.

She suddenly stopped on her tracks when she saw someone riding a bicycle, and he is making his way towards their garden. She held her breath as she watches Paolo step down from his bicycle.

"Morning, Via!" Paolo smilingly greeted her.

Via's heard did a sommersault at the sight of him. He looked so handsome with his white poloshirt and jeans matched with branded sneakers. He also had a light blue cap. He looked like a matinee idol who came out straight from the television screen.

"Via? Are you okay?" Paolo asked her, while looking obviously worried.

Via tries to regain her composure and smiled at Paolo.

"Yes, I'm okay. By the way, why are you here?" she asked him.
