Chapter 71

Liv's POV

The sound of gunshots filled my ears and I began to twirl in my sleep. Beads of sweat formed on my forehead and I shooked my head, feeling petrified. It felt as though I was being pushed down and I was about to fall down from a high cliff but I woke up.

“Frank" I muttered as my eyes peered around, trying to get accustomed to the ambience. I knew for a fact I wasn't in the dark sky pack or dark moon pack. Then where was I?.

I felt a sharp pain in my leg and I gazed down to see my leg had been wrapped with a bandage. That was when I recalled I had been shot before I crawled into the woods and lost consciousness.

I was laid on a small bed and no one was around me. I began to feel a sense of uneasiness, I recalled some people were chasing after me. What if they finally got a hold of me? The thought that imploded my head scared me so much and escaping at that moment felt like the right thing to do.
