Chapter 12. Medeora Curse

Alpha Ace's POV

WORRIED before the five minutes went out, I kept on finding Gwen unceasingly. My emotion kept rising as I continued roaming the forest, but I heard noises from a distance.

The closer I got to the source, the harder my heart was hammering inside my chest. The further I came, it felt like my feet were dragging behind me, and soon I reached a clearing where a group of people was gathered with their backs turned to me. They were all wearing black robes that covered them from head to toe until they revealed their faces.

"Who are you?" I asked as I walked up towards them.

No one answered. Their eyes stayed focused on me until one of them stepped forward. It was evident in her feature that she had a powerful aura, the way her eyes gleamed with such power gave me the feeling that I had done something wrong.

"It doesn't matter who we are; if you want us gone so bad, you must heed my words."
