Chapter Fifty-Six

Jacob woke up and looked around the room. He was confused about where he was and then remembered he’d spent the night at Madison’s house. The clock on her wall read that it was almost six-thirty in the morning. Madison was still curled up in a little ball in front of him, looking peaceful as she slept. Last night was one of the best periods of sleep he’d gotten in a while, and he was feeling quite energetic. He lightly traced his fingers down her cheek, onto her neck, and skimmed the length of her body, he watched as she shifted and stretched out fully, ending up resting on her back. Her stomach was bare from her shirt rising, and his fingers automatically created small circles, causing her back to arch upward.
