JASON POV

The other Alphas look pissed as we assemble at Ben's meeting table for the last time. Rage and betrayal pours from them but I can't give them my attention. My calculating brother seems distracted and the bond is humming with his stress. He is doing his breathing technique and it is making me want to pace.

Jas- brother? What is it?

Jacks- we figured he would know we are close. But he knows about our trackers, jas

Jas- yeah

Jacks- why would he make sure the trackers saw him? Why didn't he leave? Something smells rotten.

Jas- ..... good point. Have you had our update about Sasha?

I watch Jacks face pale before he sprints from the room to go call home. I roll my shoulders hoping that the vampire lord isn't launching an attack of his own while we are camped out to get him.

Three minutes of tapping my fingers and listening to the bickering males, feels like years. Amelia finally comes into the room and I smile. She looks beaut
