" Don't come back again to my house else you are just a dead meat....."
" I will find you....."
I strode out of his presence and ran out speedily but I could hearhis heavy threats fainting in the air. I ran out of the pack and shifted to my cats which helped me run faster than expected till I got to the patrol border of our pack. I looked back at the pack as if I was sparing it the last glance and continuedd running to the west, sobbing, and sniffing the air of betrayal and rejection.
I ran for hours, climbing through the mountains, trees, and Meadows of the border. No matter how I tried to stop, I just couldn't. I assumed Alpha's men were running behind me and I didn't hesitate to believe that even if it was not true. I ran till I arrived at at a border of the west, a big and rich pack of the west, the Bloodmoon pack.
I shifted back to my human form and looked back for the first time since I ran out of the Howler moon pack and what I saw were valleys, mountains, and big oceans that Separated the East from the West. I must have passed through these things but sincerely I didn't even see it. Maybe because I was in my wolf form.
I was in another pack, looking so strange and different from the members. I had chosen my fate. I knew the best the moon goddess could bless me with were my cats and I appreciated her for that. I knew I was not destined to love and be loved as I had experienced in my past and I thought the best thing to do was to build a cabin in the forest and struggle for survival till death came After all, I had no friends, family, or relativesrson I should call my relative is Alpha Alexie because he is my mate. This was one of the reasons why I haven't run out of his pack because I was waiting for him that one day he would feel the strong mate bond between us and adjust his indifference of love for me but the story changes entirely today.
This pack is beautiful and as a beautiful wolf I should reside here but Alpha Alexie would find me as I still bear his maid. And if he findss me, he might sell me off to the most most dangerous pack in the world as a penalty for any maid that runss away from her boss or sellss me back to my adoptive pack, Bourbon pack, which would be hell for me. I think the best place to stay is in the forest but then, I must hang out here tonight and pass a night for it was getting dark.
I walked up in the direction of a place where music was blasting through a pub, and for a moment I admired the beautiful flowers surrounded by fine lights arranged in good shape.
" Wow! This is beautiful!" Layla jeered.
" Absolutely!" Ava added.
" I perceive beer, where are we, Aurora?" Sia, my wolf asked.
" We are in a new pack close to a pub, Sia" I responded to her.
" A new pack?" She scoffed.
" Yes!" I responded.
" Aren't we going to see Alpha Alexie again?" Sia asked, her voice shaking.
" Sia, don't be a fool. There is nothing Aurora wants from him" Ava spoke.
" All I know is that the next time I meet that scumbag Alpha, I would suck his blood" Layla added.
" Enough!!" I tame them.
I knew Sia loved Alpha Alexie so much. It was not her fault that we rejected him. She was so pained when he called for the rejection and that was why she told me to accept his rejection. She was as pained as I was because she was the only one who could feel the pain in my heart. I needed to get drunk tonight.
I dipped my hands inside my pocket and found some coins inside of it. I brought it out and walked up to the pub to down my sorrow in beer.
I walked in and met a middle-aged waitress standing right before me as I entered.
" You are welcome to our bar. What can we offer you?" She asked me.
I dropped my coins on her table and said:
" Give me as many as much beer this could purchase"
" Alright, have your seat" She motioned me to a seat and I sat on the chair.
She brought three bottles of beerand placed them at my front with a glass cup. I opened it and downed a little inside the glass cup.
I sighed and waited for the efflorescence in the drink to settle before I sipped it slowly.
" Cool! I love it" Layla sneaked into my ears.
" It's not bad" Ava giggled lifelessly.
But just then my gaze met with ahandsome man walking into the pub with an escort. I wondered what status he had in this place as people were paying him so much respect. See those girls too at the entrance of the pub doing all sorts of gestures to catch his attention.
He was in blue suits that fitted his prowess stature and his perfectly sculpted jawline was breathtaking. His hazel eyes flickered at me as he walked in with an eluded smile.
He whispered something to his escort and just after, one of the escorts walked up to me.
" Miss, our Alpha wants , to s,,,, ,,,,,,,,, ,, ,,,,,, ee you, "one of the escorts said, motioning his hand at the man leaning against the wall with a glass of drink in his hand. He winked at me as I scanned through him.
" Tell him I am busy!" I responded, sipping my beer little by little.
" Miss, he is the Alpha of this pack!" He added.
" And so? Tell him I am not coming" I insisted but with a scream. I already knew I would be leaving this place by tomorrow morning so he should not bother to threaten me. The highest he could do was to send me out of his pack tonight, and I gave no damn care.
He turned around and went back to the man. The escort whispered something into the man's ear, and the man dropped the glass of drink in his hand on the table and walked up to me himself with his hands in his pocket.
BLOODMOON PACK" Hey, pretty girl! How are you?" The man finally got to where I was seated, stretching forth his hand and added: " You can call me Alpha Daniel. I am the pack leader of the west" he smiled, looking into my eyes." Huh! Shake that dude, Aurora" Sia giggled. " He is so fine and handsome" Ava exclaimed. " His blood is not as fresh as Alpha Alexie's blood, heck!" Layla scoffed.I stretched forth my hand and took his cold hand that sent chills through my palms. " I am Aurora!" I responded in one word, twisting my neck expectantly. " Wow! Your name is just as beautiful as you are" Alpha Daniel praised, smiling at me, and causing a twinge of blush to move around my face. " Huhn!! He's so romantic" Sia said. " Whoa! His voice sounds like a better version of Alpha Alexie" Layla. " Keep quiet and let Aurora respond to this man, fools" Ava. " Are you lost?" Alpha Alexie waved his hand across my face, jerking me off my distant thought. My cats were just so noisy and cling
Third person's POV. Alpha Daniel of the Bloodmoon pack, being rich and wealthy, he had gathered some court officials alongside Aurora and they were on their way back to the Howler moon pack. Alpha Daniel's move seem ambiguous for Aurora as his aim was to get her to his pack. He had planned alongside the court officials and Aurora how he was going to execute it when they get to the Alpha Alexie's pack. Aurora was dressed in a black dress and her face was covered with a black veil, but her eyes were exposed through the little pinholes in the veil. They arrived at the Howler moon pack and walked up to Alpha Alexie's chamber. Aurora was at the back walking behind Beta Jude of the Bloodmoon pack as they go and nobody could detect that was Aurora. But then Beta Caleb of the Howler moon pack had gone to inform Alpha Alexie over Alpha Daniel's arrival. " You may come in" Beta Caleb motioned his hands at the chamber and Alpha Daniel and his officials including Aurora walked into the cham
Aurora walked away from Alpha Alexie's territory, her heart heavy with the weight of betrayal. The path ahead seemed blurry through her tears, and the forest around her echoed her despair with its mournful rustling leaves.Every step she took felt like a dagger twisting in her chest. She had given her heart to Alexie, believed in their bond as mates, only to have him trade her away like a piece of property. The pain was unbearable, the sense of abandonment suffocating.Sitting beneath the shade of a towering oak tree, Aurora couldn't help but replay the moments leading up to her departure. She remembered the look in Alexie's eyes as he pleaded with her, the same eyes that had once held warmth and affection. Now they were filled with desperation, greed, and a cold detachment that had sent shivers down her spine.Tears flowed freely down her cheeks, each one carrying a piece of her shattered trust. She had thought she knew him, thought she had seen the man behind the Alpha. But she had
Aurora's POV What could be more sick than watching the one you love be with someone else? What could be more heart-wrenching than it? I felt like I was a loser but it wasn't even a competition, she had him from the onset but I was still so broken hearted over what they were doing that it felt like they might win. The way he held her, the way his eyes sparkled when she laughed and kissed his cheek. The way he said her name in his mouth and how happy she looked whenever their hands touched. It was all beautiful to me, and yet I was envious. Why couldn't it be me? Wasn't I good enough for him? Was something wrong with me? I was so lost in my delusions, so caught up in staring at both of them where they sat on the night of the pack's bonfire activity that I didn't realize that they had home and I was staring into an empty space until I heard a soft cough behind me. My head snapped around and I immediately wished I hadn't because it hurt my neck so much. My eyes met brown ones and th
Aurora’s POV After a few days, I think I was done sulking around like a little child. I tried not to think too much about Alpha Daniel or Luna- I tried not to think about both of them at all. It was not an easy task, I avoided both of them like a plaque and I threw myself into the activities of the pack, helping out when needed and even threw myself into training practice like my life deepened on it . It felt like there were weights attached to my ankles and wrists for some reason. I wanted to tear off those weights but I knew that would just make matters worse so I just did what I could do to keep those weights from crushing my feet in their grips. My hands still ached whenever I thought about it though. My heart ached even more. After training today, I was so lost in thought that I wasn't watching where I was going and I bumped into someone and almost lost my balance but a pair of firm hands against my waist stopped me from falling down. I heard a laugh and I immediately recogni
Aurora’s POV As I continued to scream, Luna's smirking face was the last thing I saw before everything faded to black. I woke up to darkness and a pounding headache. As I blinked away the grogginess clouding my vision, I realised where I was and what had happened. My stomach growled loudly and I realized that I hadn't eaten. Sweat covered every inch of my body and made my clothes stick to my skin in the most uncomfortable way. I looked at my wrists and legs, they didn't seem tied at all. In fact, there was no crowd, no fire, no woods. It was only a dream . I chuckled bitterly to myself, looking at my surroundings once more to confirm whether I was actually awake or not. Everything seemed to be in the same place as before; the same dead, gray clouds that always hang over me, the same cold atmosphere. The only difference was that I felt scared. Very scared and unsure. A cloud of fear hung over me like a plaque as I slowly made my way outside. The sun had already begun to rise, c
Alpha Daniel’s POV From that night I saw Aurora in the bar, I knew she was different, she had an aura that pulled you towards her like a magnet , it was magnetic but not overpowering. It called to you like a siren calling its prey. When you looked at her eyes it felt like they could see through your soul, it was mesmerizing, but in a way you didn’t feel compelled to look away. She was beautiful, very beautiful and even though I wasn't the type to lost after women but I found myself sitting in front of her and having small talks. I even went further to help her and brought her into my pack. I saw her blend in perfectly like she had always been part of us. The people seemed to love her, she'd play around with kids, joke with the men and women, and help out in any way she could. She warmed my heart. She made me feel good, better than I had felt in a long time. I felt content and at peace. She seemed to do everything for everyone, she would smile brightly and make anyone happy, and
Alpha Daniel's POV A sigh left her mouth. She tasted sweet and intoxicating. She was so hot and sexy and I craved the heat and passion that was radiating from her. I needed this. Yet she was nothing like Aurora. I wanted Aurora. But the thought made me nauseous and the thought of Luna being here instead of her disgusted me. She moved her hand from my cheeks to my jawline pushing me onto my back and straddling my hips, pressing herself intimately against me. A low growl escaped my throat as my eyes darted between her eyes and her lips. It wouldn't hurt any of us if I pretended that she was Aurora right? And that was exactly what I did. I rolled her over so she was laying down with her head facing the ceiling and my body hovering above hers. Her eyes stared at me, waiting for some kind of reaction and her breathing quickened ever so slightly. Without hesitating I lowered myself down to kiss her neck, licking my way from her jugular to her clavicle. She gasped loudly and I lov
