Chapter 13 - Going On A Date

Now Harriet knew provoking Liam wasn't a good idea.

She was lying on her stomach on the bed without a single thread covering her body when Liam covered her with a thick blanket. The man had finished putting his pants back on, walking towards the wide-open tower window.

Harriet held back her sleep as she watched Liam's sturdy back turn to her.

"Go to sleep, Madam. When you wake up, I will still be here with you," said the man.

"You don't want to sleep with me, Milord?" asked Harriet softly.

Liam leaned back against the window frame like when they first met and smiled at Harriet. The man nodded slowly. "Mm, I don't want to sleep yet," the man said quietly.

At that moment, it felt like Harriet was just blinking. Because when she woke up, Liam was still sitting in the same place and the same position, but the sun was already rising on the eastern horizon.

Harriet jolted awake, and let out a small groan from the pain in her lower back. Harriet heard Liam chuckling.
