Chase's POV

My eyes widened as I stared at the woman who just hit me, Layla was no longer scared. She was furious at me, that was the first time she was mad at me, I have seen all shades of her but never have I seen her mad. I didn't even realize she was capable of getting angry. However she just hit me, Layla just raised her hand at me without blinking an eye. Did I hurt her too much with my words or what?

"What did you just do?"

"How dare you imply such a thing" She was even more surprised by her actions and words. This was all Dahlia's fault. If she wasn't my sister then I wouldn't have hesitated to punish her. No matter how I look at this, all of this was her doing. She had hit me and took Layla's side and now she feels that she can lift her hand at me at will but I am not going to allow it.
