I will kill Tobi if anything goes wrong with my plan. What the hell do I do now?

As we drove towards the designated meeting point, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. The anticipation of finally getting my hands on the amulet was almost too much to bear. But as we got closer, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

Why would Tobi pull something like this on me out of nowhere?

"Hey Keith," I said, turning to the alpha sitting next to me. "Don't you think it's strange that Tobi wants to meet us there, out in the middle of nowhere?"

Keith merely grunted in response, his focus solely on the road ahead. I knew that he was anxious to get his hands on the amulet too. He had made no secret of the fact that he wanted to use it to find out who had poisoned his father.
