“You’re a Luna on the run, huh?” Rodger chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. “Wow. The future Luna of Red Moon Pack, no less. No wonder Driana chose to hide you with me the way she did.”

“What do you mean by that?”

I told Cindy and Rodger my story of how I came to be here. I didn’t see any reason not to. Not with Rodger being the brother of the witches that sent me here. They seemed more than aware of my situation and would likely fill him in if I didn’t. Plus, I felt a sense of peace with Rodger. He had a very calming presence and trusting demeanor. I have felt at ease here completely since I walked in, despite it being a strip club. They were completely empathetic when I went over every detail of my relationship with Cameron and what I woke up to. Rodger even got pissed, gripping his armchair angrily when I told him how I woke up.
