Chapter 11

Carefully I stepped over the rocks and keeping my balance so I wouldn't fall into the pond. There were some steps taking me to the cave right behind the fall and when I walked inside I couldn't believe my eyes. I gasped at the sight of blue crystals on every wall giving enough light. I didn't know such a place even existed, no wonder it looked as if the waterfall had a blue glow in the dark at night.

I heard his ragged breathing from ahead and it also sounded as if he was trashing around. I became worried and just rushed to him without thinking.

"What are you doing here?!" I heard his voice speaking from the dark corner where none of the crystals shed their light.

I halted looking into the darkness. All I could see was his silhouette, but I couldn't make out the expression on his face. I still knew exactly how he was looking at me. I saw faint red flashes of his eyes.

"Why are you here Wolfe?" I asked and stepped closer.

I heard him shuffling. "Get back!"

"No." I wasn't afraid of
