The pounding ache in her head was making it difficult for Renata to open her eyes. She knew drinking so much would be a pain in the ass in the morning, yet her girls made her drink. What is the big deal in turning twenty-nine? Everyone turns twenty-nine.
Renata knew what she needed, coffee. A large cup of black coffee would help her or maybe Sameeksha could give her a banana bag. It was good to have a doctor in the house. She sat up but kept her eyes closed.
“What?” she groaned. “I understand why my head is pounding. I don’t understand why my whole body is aching. It feels like I spend a whole day in the gym. Shit!” she sighed. She lifted her hand to stretch when her blanket fell from her chest.
“What the hell!!” she shouted as she found herself naked. “Ah, girls! What kind of stupid prank is this?” she looked around her room, her red dress was lying at the foot of the bed. “Why would they leave me naked? Stupid, girls!” she groaned.
Rubbing her temple with her middle finger she took out fresh clothes from her closet and covered her body. Carefully, mapping her path to the living room, she came out of her room. Being Sunday, her housemates were inside the house.
Hazel was getting ready to do laundry. Sameeksha was reading a medical journal. Ambrosia and Valentina were idly sitting on the couch watching some stupid morning show.
“Why the volume is so high?” complained Renata.
All her friends stopped what they were doing and looked at her with sly smirk on their faces.
“What?” shouted Renata.
“Oh my! You are gorgeous!” teased Hazel.
“Oh shit! Oh shit! That was not a dream?” cried Renata. All friends smiled and nodded their heads in no. She sat with a thud on the couch, “I have never done that. How could I say to a man that he looks good? I would never do that. I am a hardass when it comes to men. Oh god! It was so humiliating.”
Everyone immediately looked at each other. Renata noticed the exchange of looks. “What?” she asked.
“Oh…” Hazel opened her mouth but didn’t know how to tell Renata.
“What? What else happened? Oh! Did I do something even more embarrassing?”
“The thing is…” said Ambrosia. The scary one was scared now.
“What? What are you hiding?” shouted Renata.
“Well! You were about to kiss him,” said Valentina. “You ran away from me and were about to kiss him.”
Renata’s jaw dropped to the floor. “I… o… phew…” No legible words were coming out of her mouth.
“Not only that, you fainted and he helped you and us get back home,” replied Hazel.
“What do you mean he helped me?”
“Um… you fainted, as we all know, so… he lifted you in his arms,” said Sameeksha.
“He did what? And you guys let him?” shouted Renata.
“Wait till you hear this,” Valentina rolled her eyes.
“There’s more?”
“He gave us a lift in his car and then carried you all the way to your bed,” said Ambrosia.
“Excuse me!” Renata stood up in shock. “He was inside our house? Are you serious? You let a stranger enter our house. What if he was a serial killer? What if he was mafia?”
“Haa! As if the Mafia is real. That is stuff for movies and books,” laughed Sameeksha.
“She is worried about him being in our house. What about when you were in his arms?” sniggered Valentina and all the others joined her. The snigger changed into a loud laugh.
“I just can’t even… SHUT UP!!” she shouted at her friends. “Where is the newspaper? None of you brought it inside?” she scolded.
“Oh, old soul! No one reads the newspaper nowadays. You can get all the news on your phone,” teased Ambrosia.
“I like the feel and smell of newspaper. Do you have a problem?” snapped Renata.
“No!”
“Then go make coffee, it’s your turn. I will the newspaper,” said Renata to Ambrosia and walked to the door. Her doorman made sure that the newspaper was kept on her welcome mat every morning.
She opened the door and bowed down to pick up the newspaper. Before she could stand up, she saw two legs coming at her way. She stood up and faced the stranger.
“Excuse me!” said the tall, rugged-faced man.
“Yes! How can I help you?” asked Renata. She knew she had seen that man somewhere but could not recall where.
“Um… Hi! We met yesterday. I am Severino. Can you tell me when Michel is coming out?” he asked.
“Who?” asked Renata.
“Uhh… you don’t remember, do you?” asked Severino.
“Remember what?”
“He took you inside. You were unconscious,” replied Severino.
Renata gasped as her mind started working. “You mean to say that the man who helped me, didn’t come out last night. You mean to say he spent the night in my house?”
“Yes!”
“Holy Shit!” she shouted and shut the door in Severino’s face.
“What? What? Who was it?” all her friends came running.
“Was there anyone in your rooms last night?” asked Renata.
“What, no? said Hazel. “I was alone.”
“Me too,” said Sameeksha.
“There was no one in our room. What is the matter?” asked Ambrosia who shared her room with Valentina.
“Someone…” Renata pointed her thumb behind her at the door, “…is saying that a man stayed here last night. The man…” she lowered her voice, “… who helped us.”
“Not in my room,” shouted Hazel.
“Not me,” said Sameeksha.
“Not us,” said Ambrosia and Valentina together.
All looked at each other and then together shouted ‘shit’.
“But how?” Renata was breathing heavily. “I… I just woke up… there was no one inside…” Renata gasped and stopped talking. Flashes of last night started appearing before her eyes. She recalled her mouth over someone’s mouth, her tongue inside someone’s mouth, her hands over someone’s body, someone’s hand over her body, someone’s something inside her.
“No, no, no, shit! Shit! Shit!” she shouted and ran towards her room. She flung the door open and before her, Michelangelo was standing in his trousers with a towel around his neck. His soft curls were holding pearls of water that kept falling on his smooth shoulder and running all the way to his chest.
“FU… CK… ME…” she shouted.
“Um… I did that last night. Want a second time?” smirked Michelangelo.
“Who? What?” all her friends came running. Renata immediately closed the door, hiding Michelangelo in her room.
“What did I do? What did I do?” Renata kept repeating.
“Someone had a blast birthday,” teased Hazel.
“Oh, shut up!” shouted Renata and opened her door. She didn’t let anyone peep and closed the door almost instantly.
“Who are you?” she shouted at Michelangelo.
“Uh… my name is Michelangelo. We met last night, remember?”
“Do I look like I remember?” she shouted.
Michelangelo smirked and started walking towards her. Renata tilted her head and stepped back immediately. But Michelangelo didn’t stop. Renata blinked vigorously and froze after her back banged against the door. Her hands started looking for the doorknob. She almost had the door open when he caged her with her body and shut the door.
“First you initiate everything and now you act like you don’t remember,” he bit his lips.
“I… I did what?” Renata’s eyes widened.
“You grabbed my collar and kissed me,” he winked at her.
“SHUT UP!! I do… I don… I don’t do things like that,” she protested.
“Well, you did it with me,” he licked his lips.
His words and his actions were making the atmosphere very hot. Renata’s brain was fried now. She had no idea how to behave in front of the Greek god. His sculpted muscles, the water droplets all over his chest, the soft curls moving with the water droplets, were making her hot and wet.
That feeling made her remember how hot and wet she was last night.
She curled her lips in ‘O’ and exhaled a big puff of air. She didn’t want to believe his words. She didn’t want to believe the flashes she was having. She didn’t want to believe her bed and the crumpled sheets on it.
“Do you want me to jog your memory? I won’t mind,” he teased.
“No, thanks!” she shouted and pushed him away. She instantly opened the door but instead of her going out, her friends fell inside her room.
“Oh my!” shouted Hazel when she saw the handsome angel before her. All the girls started giggling.
Renata groaned and rolled her eyes. She shouted at Michelangelo, “will you leave, please? Someone is waiting for you outside.”
“Let him. Won’t you offer some tea or coffee?” he teased.
“You literally are a stranger. Please leave!”
“You slept with this stranger,” he winked again.
“Ohh!!!” the girls hooted.
Renata hid her face with her palms and ran away from the room.
Renata was shocked that she slept with someone. She was never that drunk that she would make such a mistake. She brought a stranger home, rather a stranger brought her home. And then she slept with him. Even her friends were not aware of what she was doing inside her room. She ran to the door and brought Severino in. “Just take your… whatever… with you and leave. Leave now!” she commanded.“Yes, yes, sure,” stammered Severino. Last night that girl was happy and sweet and now she was rude and angry. He was a little scared of her.“Boss! Michel! Let’s go!” shouted Severino and moved inside the house. Renata pointed him in the right direction and Severino moved towards her room. He stood by the door and saw four girls giggling and talking to him while he was buttoning up his shirt.“Go? Go where? Dear Hazel is making coffee for me even though it’s Ambrosia’s turn,” he smiled and said loudly so that Renata could hear him.As he thought Renata came running and shouted, “what?”“What?” he a
Severino was tasked to do the most important job anyone in the Siago Mafia Syndicate (SMS) could get. He was told to transport the cargo to the Mafia’s headquarters, Sevendale Club. The Supreme Boss was going to be there and was going to make an announcement.Everyone from all the six coscas was coming to the party. It would be a great opportunity for Severino to shine. All the bosses would now know his name but if only he would carry out this mission successfully. His dream was to become a consigliere and this mission would be the perfect opportunity for him to get everyone’s attention. He took the consignment that was locked in a truck and tasked one car to follow the truck while he sat in the car in front of the truck to make sure the roads were clear. The product was extremely important. So important that every man and woman in the party would bid on them. A grand scale auction was supposed to be held.Everything was running smoothly. There was no law enforcement in sight as the S
Severino walked inside the room and his eyes widened with the turnout. All the big bosses from every cosca were present there, the Venturis, the Babineauxs, the Vasilievs, the Carters, the Zhaos and the Ishidas. He lowered his head and made his way to his new boss.“What happened to you?” asked Michelangelo after seeing minute lacerations on his face and his hands. He tried hard to clean but the blood behind his ears was still present. Michel gave him a napkin to clean it off.“Vigilantes!! They were waiting for us. They ambushed us on the way to the club,” said Severino in a single gulp and downed the two glasses of drinks kept before Michelangelo.“What??!!” shouted Michelangelo and stood up. Every single person sitting in the light and the dark hiding their dark, perverse faces looked at him.“What happened?” Vittore Venturi, a rugged faced man, the leader of Fina Cosca, asked his son, Michelangelo, from the next table over. The table next over had all the biggest parties from the
The whole ballroom stood up with respect. Only the rustling of clothes was audible in the room otherwise the whole room was silent. All looked at the other end of the room where a tall chair was kept. It was like a throne for the Supreme Boss. It was built on a high platform so that the Supreme leader could have a visual of the whole room.A tall man walked in with two women on either side. The man had a certain aura about him. His one look was enough to grab the attention of the people. The black suit he was wearing was about to burst due to muscles. Even though he was old, his handlebar moustache and his hair were black. He never asked for it, but everyone bowed at him the moment he stepped in. He commanded the love and respect of all. After all, he was the man who made SMS, what it is now. He started the auction ring and made all the money for SMS and made it the most ruthless gang in the world.Tikhon Kuznetsova, the ruthless boss of Siago Mafia Syndicate, SMS, was extremely cunni
Severino was in his thought-land thinking about how he arrived in that apartment full of beautiful ladies. Ladies like them were present last night in the auction. Well, the ladies in the apartment were a little old for everyone’s taste but if they were presented in the auction, they would be sold within seconds. “What are you thinking?” asked Renata. “Nothing! Nothing! Just about last night. It was an adventurous one for me,” replied Severino. “He is done, superficially. I have checked all his wounds,” smiled Sameeksha. “Okay, tell me do you have trouble breathing?” she asked. “Um… no, I am fine,” replied Severino. “So, it hurts only when I press your stomach and ribs?” asked Sameeksha. “Yes.” “It’s just bruised. But it would be better if you get an X-ray,” said Sameeksha. “No, no, it’s fine.” “I can get you one in my hospital,” said Sameeksha, “for free.” She tempted him. “Ha-ha, I don’t really care about money. I feel good but I will take your advice and go to the ER if an
Michelangelo’s mind flashed back to the moment Renata approached him and praised him for being handsome. He was remembering how she was curled up against him inside the car. He could smell her lilac scent mixed with the orange flavour coming from her mouth. Her soft cheeks were on his shoulder. She kept mumbling things but they weren’t audible. All the other girls too were under the influence by then. They all were sleeping inside the car with their heads on each other’s shoulders. “Why are we helping them?” asked Severino. “Because they need our help,” smiled Michelangelo. “Michel! We came here to drink, not help someone.” “We can drink after we drop them, safe. So many women are being dragged into the auction ring by us. At least I can save these five,” said Michelangelo. “Do whatever you want. When have to listened to me,” pouted Severino. When they reached the address, Michelangelo flashed a smile after seeing the familiar building. He was glad that the girls lived in his bu
The new week arrived with so many promises. The girls woke up when their alarms rang. Some exercised, some did yoga and it was Renata’s and Valentina’s turn to make the breakfast. Renata was making tea and coffee for everyone while Valentina was cooking eggs and making toast. Renata poured the coffee into cups but her eyes fell on the blue cup that had touched Michelangelo’s lips. She gulped at the thought of kissing him. The way he sucked and kissed all over her body made her shiver. “Are you okay?” asked Valentina. “Yeah, yeah, fine. Why?” asked Renata. “Since your birthday you seem off.” “What? No! I am fine.” But she was not fine. She was having a very specific problem. Wherever she saw she could see Michelangelo. Whenever she would go to her bedroom, she could see him on the bed doing things to her. She could see him in the shower kissing her. She could see him on the couch sucking her breasts. He was everywhere she looked. And she was having a difficult time getting him ou
Renata kept blinking at the man standing before him. He looked like Michelangelo, he sounded like Michelangelo, he even smelled like him. Was he real or she was imagining again? She looked at Ryan and asked, “can you describe the gentleman standing before us?” “What?” shouted both Ryan and Michelangelo. “Ryan! Just do it. Describe him!” she commanded. “Well, he is handsome,” replied Ryan. “Ryan! Details. You are attracted to men, use your power,” said Renata. Ryan cracked his knuckles, took one look at the man standing before him and said, “broad forehead hidden by curls, deeper than sea blue eyes, extremely tall, sharp jawline, thick busy eyebrows complimenting the blue eyes, pale skin that looks untouched by the sun but I would very much like to touch him.” Renata heard the description and shouted, “oh, my God! You are really here?” she went close to him and softly poked his cheek with her finger. “Oh shit! He is real.” “Why would you think I am not real?” teased Michelangelo
