It had been an hour since I left Sapphire. She must head back by now. But where was she? Something tells me that things weren’t right. Perhaps I should look for her. She wasn’t answering her phone either and it was beginning to worry me.

The first thing that came into my mind when I went looking for her was the library. Sapphire spent most of her time in the library. I always knew that whenever she didn’t feel like going to the cafeteria, which was most of the times, she spent time in the library. However, much to my dismay, she was nowhere to be seen in the library.

I later went and searched other places in the school but I couldn't find her. I have been searching for her since so long that my legs almost hurt due to the running, I have been doing, but it had been futile. She was nowhere to be found.

I came to a stop at a point and leaned forward, clutching my knees with my hands as I released shaky breaths. I was already panting hard when I heard a loud shrill.
