Chapter 4

He acknowledged her with a nod of his head and sat down in the empty chair that was reserved for him. Max hated comming to these things but as it was a work colleagues going away he needed to attend. As Max sat down he couldn't help but notice the beautiful lady that was staring at him for some familiar reason he felt that he knew her well but he didn't know from where as he  looked at the menu he kept on thinking about her.  His stomach was doing somersaults every time he looked at her. 

As Jenna continued her hosting  just walking around the dining tables seeing if any customers needed anything and if everyone was happy with there meals. Although she has a smile on her face she cannot help but feel the men want to talk to her flirt with her or ask her out. Men  make her scared these days yelling or drunken behaviours makes her run and hide or escape into the kitchen,  leaving the staff to deal with them. She can't help herself  they just bring back bad memories for me.

Towards the end of the night the evening had died down only a few people where left In the restaurant. She makes myself a cup of tea and sits at the bar and drinks  it waiting till the diners all leave.

 All of a sudden she felt the hairs at the back of her neck stand up turning around seeing  the detective staring at her,  he pulled out a bar stool  and sat down and said to her " I'm sorry if I'm staring at you but you look really familiar, I don't know where I've seen you but I feel as though I now you, or maybe you look like someone I just can't figure it out". I smile at him and nod my head bring my hair down to cover the scar on the left side of my cheek. I turn and stare at him and say "Yes  your totally right,  I felt that when you walked into the restaurant  as well "I said to him "my name is Jenna you save my life 10 years ago" His eyes widened as he stared at me.
