Let's Have A Marriage Contract

Nicholas guided Ariana back to his car. The girl had cried more than she should have.

Nicholas wanted to even carry her because she was drained, but he held himself back.

Both of them now knew they were those strangers from back then. And also they got to know that they really had kids together, which of course might be alive or dead, according to each other's perspective.

“Are you okay?” Nicholas asked when they were seated in his car.

Ariana nodded her head, but Nicholas knew she wasn't okay.

“Okay then, I will drive you home. But before that, do you still intend to continue with the marriage or not? If you don't want to, I can--”

Ariana cut his words off with hers…

“I will, I will get married to you, Nicholas. I know this is not the kind of marriage every lady, including me, dreamed of.

But sometimes we have to sacrifice ourselves in other to achieve our goals.

Love? I don't have any interest in that. It has never been on my list for this stage in my life. So let's get married.”
