Chapter Eighteen

Victoria was staring at the clutches beside her. She had called Valerie several times and had even taken the risk to go to her apartment but she wasn't around. Valerie was never there when she needed her the most, she was either working or going around partying and chasing after Lucio. Tears brimmed down Victoria's cheeks, there was nothing else she could do except turn to the last person she would want to see. The doorbell rings and she gets up striding towards the door and yanks it wide open exposing her mother Patricia.

Before Victoria could say another word, Patricia Carnegie landed a hard slap on her cheek. "I told your father not to let you move out of the house, I know this would happen"
