Chapter 26- Ethan's bitch

Chloe's POV

I left Ethan's mansion last night with a completely shattered heart. I cried all the way from his home to my new apartment. For a moment, I was glad that I didn't come with Ari. I didn't know how I would had hidden my tears from her.

I didn't plan it, neither did I realize when it happened, but my heart opened to him, and he crawled his way inside, occupying every bit of it like he belonged there. I was still mending my broken heart when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door to meet the object of my desire staring at me with so much longing in his eyes. He was so near, yet he seems so far.

I longed to hug him, to kiss him, to even smell his familiar musky scent, but I held myself back. But then he said the word that made my heart leap.
