"Will you be staying with us forever?" Lora asked excitedly as she jumped on my bed. 

"I don't know if I will be around for that long," I said after removing another bunch of folded clothes and packing them into the huge walk in closet at the end of the room. 

My room was amazing. The walls were a beautiful peach colour and near the large windows was a queen sized bed that had white and peach covers. There was a small, black mat in front of the bed and each nightstand had a lamp on top of it. At one end of the room was a small working space and at the other, an en suite bathroom.  

"Bummer." Lora frowned and sat down. "It would be nice to have you here forever. Think about it, you'd probably marry Daddy and give me a baby sister-"

I covered her mouth with my hand before she could go further. "I don't think that you should be thinking about that."

She pushed my hand away. "Why not? It's pretty vali
